The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, developing robust data models, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and maintaining data quality.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. BI Solution Development:
o Design, develop, and implement BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
o Use tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker or QlikView to visualize data and generate insights.
2. Data Integration and ETL:
o Develop and maintain ETL processes to gather, transform, and store data from multiple sources.
o Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout data pipelines.
3. Data Modeling:
o Create and optimize data models, both relational and multidimensional, to support reporting and analysis.
o Work with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
o Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
o Monitor BI system performance and implement best practices for optimization.
o Regularly review and enhance data models and reports to improve efficiency.
6. Documentation and Training:
o Document BI solutions, including data sources, data flows, and technical specifications.
o Provide training to end-users on BI tools and reporting platforms.
7. Data Governance and Quality:
o Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
o Conduct regular data quality checks and troubleshoot issues in data accuracy and consistency.
